TYPHON SHANTUO IS COMING AND ALL TRAFFIC CHANGES IN TAIWAN CAN BE MONITORED AT ONCE

High Speed ​​Rail

From 6:00 am to 9:30 pm on the 2nd, Nangang Station and Zuoying Station will each dispatch 2 trains per hour with all seats available (excluding business cars) stopping at each station. Taichung Station will add one train to Nangang Station and one train to Zuoying Station at 6:30 am, heading north and south. At 10:00 pm and 10:30 pm, additional trains will be added from Nangang Station and Zuoying Station to Taichung Station respectively.

 

Taiwan Railways

The latest operation status of Taiwan Railways trains on the 2nd is as follows:

- Western Trunk Line: All numbered trains are suspended. Intermediate (express) trains will operate normally from Keelung to Changhua before 12:00 noon, and the operation of Changhua to Fangliao will be adjusted depending on the wind and rain conditions.

- Eastern Trunk Line: All numbered trains are suspended. Before 12:00 noon, the section (express) train will only run to Heren Station or Heping Station from Taipei to Hualien, and will run normally from Hualien to Taitung. The section (express) train will only run to Xincheng Station from Hualien to Yilan, and will be adjusted according to the wind and rain conditions.

- South-loop Line: All lines are suspended.

- Branch lines: Pingxi Line, Liujia Line, Neiwan Line are running normally, and will be adjusted according to wind and rain conditions. Jiji Line and Shalun Line are suspended.

In addition, all trains of Alishan Forest Railway will be suspended on the 2nd.

Aviation

A total of 234 domestic flights (120 flights of Uni Air, 86 flights of Mandarin Airlines, and 28 flights of De'an Airlines) were all cancelled on the 2nd. 246 of the 866 international flights were cancelled.

- Starlux Airlines: Flights will operate normally on the 2nd, but flights between Taichung and Da Nang and Macau will be cancelled on the 3rd. Passengers need to pay attention to the latest flight information.

- EVA Air: Flights at Taoyuan and Songshan Airports will operate normally on the 1st, and some return flights at Kaohsiung Xiaogang Airport will be cancelled. A total of 3 flights to Tokyo, Osaka and Hong Kong will be cancelled before noon on the 2nd.

- China Airlines: Flights between Kaohsiung and Seoul, Tokyo, Osaka, Hong Kong, Manila and other places will be cancelled on the 2nd.

- Tigerair Taiwan: Multiple flights between Kaohsiung and Macau, Nagoya, Tokyo, Okinawa, Seoul and Da Nang will be cancelled on the 2nd.

Shipping

On the 2nd, 4 routes (30 sailings) of the Mini Three Links were suspended; 11 domestic routes (132 sailings) were suspended on the 2nd. The Maritime and Port Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation estimated that a total of 15 routes and 162 sailings were suspended on the 2nd, and called on the public to avoid traveling to outlying islands.

The Kinmen County Port Authority announced that the two Mini Three Links passenger routes from Kinmen Shuitou to Xiamen Wutong and Quanzhou Shijing were suspended all day on the 2nd.
