Chinese New Year is a Moment to Strengthen the Bonds of Brotherhood
Arif Sulistiyo, Head of the Indonesian Economic and Trade Office (IETO) in Taipei, called Chinese New Year a moment to strengthen bonds of brotherhood and expressed his hope that this year would be better than the previous one, as told to CNA on Tuesday (February 17).
In his statement, Arif expressed his hope that in this year of the Fire Horse, all Indonesian citizens (WNI) in Taiwan, including migrant workers, students, professionals, and members of the diaspora, would be blessed with good health, safety, blessings, and success in their work and studies.
He also hoped that every step taken by Indonesian citizens in Taiwan would bring goodness to themselves, their environment in Taiwan, and their families back home, and would contribute to bringing honor to Indonesia's name in Taiwan.
"May this new year bring good fortune, health, peace, and happiness to us all. May every step we take be filled with renewed enthusiasm, brighter hopes, and abundant blessings," Arif said.
Arif also emphasized that Chinese New Year is a time to strengthen bonds of brotherhood, strengthen gratitude, and open a new chapter with optimism and hard work.
He also emphasized that the Indonesian Economic and Trade Office (KDEI) will remain committed to providing the best service and serving as a shared home for all Indonesian citizens in Taiwan, while wishing those celebrating a Happy Chinese New Year in Mandarin.
"Xin Nian Kuai Le (Happy New Year). May all your dreams and plans come true this year," Arif said.
