MIGRANT WORKERS FOLLOW QUARANTINE IN JAKARTA
There were 100 fewer Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) undergoing quarantine at the Nagrak Flats, North Jakarta, Thursday (3/2). The new facility is specifically for PMI to reduce crowding. "So 3,248 PMI are undergoing quarantine in the Nagrak Flats," said Head of Information for the Joint Regional Defense Command (Kogabwilhan-I) Marine Colonel Aris Mudian in a written statement, Thursday (3/2). Aris detailed that the number consisted of 1,640 men and 1,608 women. They occupy Towers 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6.
Aris said that as many as 12,996 patients were registered since the Nagrak Flats began operating on December 21 2021. A total of 9,748 patients left because they had finished undergoing isolation. Head of the Covid Handling Task Force (Satgas) Lt. Gen. Suharyanto asked for the readiness of additional quarantine facilities to be accelerated. So that more people can be accommodated to undergo quarantine. "Speed up the repairs so that we can immediately send the needs and equipment for immediate use," said Suharyanto. (OL-1)
